Join this unforgettable round tour that covers the entire Ring Road as well as the magnificent Snæfellsnes Peninsula. Discover Iceland's ever-changing landscapes while learning about the country's fascinating geology, culture, and history.
The tour includes nine nights of accommodation with breakfast and seven countryside dinners. During the journey, you will stay at charming countryside farm accommodations, allowing you to interact with local hosts, enjoy traditional Icelandic cuisine such as lamb and fresh fish, and meet friendly farm animals, including Icelandic horses and dogs.
Travel around Iceland in a comfortable minivan with a maximum of 12 guests, ensuring a more personal and intimate experience. The small group size allows you to explore Iceland at a relaxed pace while enjoying the feeling of independent travel.
Visit some of Iceland's most spectacular attractions, including the Golden Circle, Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss Waterfalls, Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, Dettifoss Waterfall, Lake Mývatn, and the breathtaking Snæfellsnes Peninsula.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival
Arrive at Keflavík International Airport and make your way to your hotel in Reykjavík.
Accommodation: Reykjavík.
Day 2: Reykjavík – Hella
The first day of the tour begins with a short 1.5-hour city tour of Reykjavík. Highlights include the Old Harbour, the city centre, and the iconic Hallgrímskirkja Church.
We then continue to Þingvellir National Park, home to Iceland's historic parliament site and a remarkable geological rift valley.
From there, we travel to the Geysir Geothermal Area, where you will witness erupting hot springs, before continuing to Gullfoss (Golden Falls). On sunny days, you may even see a beautiful rainbow in the waterfall's mist.
After a full day of sightseeing, we continue to our overnight accommodation.

Day 3: Hella – Vík
Our second day begins with visits to the magnificent waterfalls Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss.
We then visit the Skógar Folk Museum, where you can learn about Iceland's rich cultural heritage.
Afterward, we continue along Iceland's spectacular South Coast, visiting Sólheimajökull Glacier, the bird cliffs of Dyrhólaey, the impressive basalt columns, the famous Reynisdrangar Sea Stacks, and the stunning Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach.

Day 4: Vík – Glacier Lagoon
Today's journey continues across lava fields created by the Laki volcanic eruption of 1783–1784 before reaching the beautiful Skaftafell Nature Reserve, located within Vatnajökull National Park, home to Europe's largest glacier.
At Skaftafell, we enjoy a scenic walk to the magnificent Svartifoss Waterfall, famous for its striking basalt columns.
Later, we continue to the breathtaking Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, where we enjoy an unforgettable boat tour among floating icebergs.

Day 5: Glacier Lagoon – Möðrudalur
Today the journey continues through the spectacular East Fjords, where dramatic coastlines, towering mountains, and deep fjords create unforgettable scenery.
We travel to Egilsstaðir before crossing mountain roads to Möðrudalur, Iceland's highest inhabited settlement, located 469 metres (1,539 feet) above sea level.
Accommodation: Möðrudalur.
Day 6: Möðrudalur – Mývatn
From Möðrudalur, we travel to the mighty Dettifoss, Europe's most powerful waterfall.
We then visit the impressive horseshoe-shaped canyon of Ásbyrgi, one of Iceland's most remarkable natural wonders.
Our journey continues through the charming town of Húsavík before reaching the fascinating Lake Mývatn, one of the Northern Hemisphere's most significant geological regions.
Highlights include bubbling geothermal mud pools, steaming volcanic landscapes, warm lava fields formed by recent eruptions, the extraordinary lava formations of Dimmuborgir, and the fascinating pseudocraters at Skútustaðir.

Day 7: Mývatn – Hrútafjörður
The day begins with a visit to Goðafoss (Waterfall of the Gods).
We then travel to Akureyri, where we enjoy a short sightseeing tour followed by free time to explore Iceland's northern capital.
Later, we continue to Siglufjörður before driving around the spectacular Tröllaskagi Peninsula on our way to the overnight accommodation.

Day 8: Hrútafjörður – Snæfellsnes
Today's journey explores the magnificent Snæfellsnes Peninsula, dominated by the glacier-capped Snæfellsjökull Volcano.
Highlights include the basalt pebble beach of Djúpalónssandur, surrounded by fascinating lava formations, and the picturesque village of Arnarstapi, where a scenic walk along the coastal cliffs offers breathtaking views, dramatic rock formations, abundant birdlife, and stunning ocean scenery.
Accommodation: Snæfellsnes area.
Day 9: Snæfellsnes – Reykjavík
Today we complete our journey back to Reykjavík.
Our first stop is Grábrók Crater, where we take a short hike to enjoy panoramic views.
We then visit the beautiful waterfalls Hraunfossar (Lava Falls) and Barnafoss (Children's Falls) before continuing to Deildartunguhver, Europe's most powerful hot spring.
Finally, we drive through the scenic Hvalfjörður (Whale Fjord) before arriving in Reykjavík.

Day 10: Departure
Make your way to Keflavík International Airport for your departure flight.
