Come along on this revitalizing ATV tour exploring the Icelandic Highlands, untouched and unseen by many visitors who don't dare to discover the treasures hidden off the beaten track. This tour is for anyone looking for a personal experience out in nature, or for those adrenaline junkies who would like a little more "zip in their trip".

You’ll meet your tour guides at Lambalækur Farm ATV base camp and, together, agree upon what route best suits you and your group. Thankfully, this tour is fully customizable on site. Your tour guides will also help you learn how to control the ATV so that you can fully enjoy and maximise the experience; no previous quad bike experience is needed!

Are you in the mood for a woodland paradise? Try Fjallabak Nature Preserve, also the home of the hugely popular Laugavegur hiking trail. You can speed by the northern end of the trail, at the valley of Landmannalaugar, taking in the dazzling colours of the kaleidoscopic mountainsides.

But what about the glaciers which give Iceland its unique and frosty character? The Lambalækur Farm is located between Mt. Hekla, one of Iceland’s most active volcanoes, and the infamous Eyjafjallajökull. Despite being a rather small ice volcano, Eyjafjallajökul disrupted air travel plans across mainland Europe in 2010 after spewing huge amounts of ash into the air. They may look peaceful in the afternoon mist, but don’t underestimate their power of Iceland's volcanoes!

How about a valley full of geological features, lava rock and creeping plant life to explore every nook and cranny? Head for Hungurfit valley or Markarfljótsgljúfur; both of these areas provide for truly staggering scenery, providing a real insight into Iceland's geological make-up.

Along the way, you’ll find waterfalls dotting the land, nourishing fields of moss and colourful scrub brush. Purple fields of lupine will wave in the breeze as you woosh by. Everywhere you look, it seems, the landscape resembles a picture postcard, designed just for you.
