Day 1: Reykjavík – Thorsmork
You start the day by driving into Thorsmork in a Super Jeep, making scenic stops on the way. On our journey, we'll see Eyjafjallajokull Volcano by making a stop at Gigjokull outlet glaciers that stretch from the Glacier. There on we drive towards our mountain hut in Husadalur, resting and feasting in-between 3 of Iceland’s most spectacular Glaciers.
Day 2: Thorsmork – Thorsmork
We explore Thorsmork even better on the second day, just after breakfast. We'll go for a drive and/or hikes in the beautiful nature and find out what the Valley of Thor is all about.
Day 3: Thorsmork – Golden Circle – Reykjavik
The Classic Golden Circle is one of Iceland’s finest jewels. See Gullfoss waterfall a 31-meter high waterfall, plunge into a narrow gorge, feel the geothermal spray from Strokkur gushing hot spring in the Geysir area and go for a walk through Þingvellir National park, where the two tectonic plates drifted apart and Vikings roamed around!
If your accommodation is not in Reykjavik we can arrange to pick up/drop off from/to other places. Note that pick up/drop off from/to other places might be charged if the distance is further than Reykjavik. Please contact us for more information.
What to bring:
Warm outdoor clothing, waterproof jacket, and pants, headwear, gloves, lunch, and/or snacks. Appropriate hiking boots/shoes are required.
