Midnight Sun Atv Tour

Experience the adventure of an ATV ride through Iceland’s incredible landscapes in the most beautiful way possible: beneath the midnight sun. This tour should not be missed by those who have come to this country to seek out unique and adrenaline-pumping experiences. 

You will be picked up in the evening from Reykjavík, and whisked to where your ATVs are waiting, at the nearby Mount Hafrafell. Here, your guides will gear you up, tell you about the safety rules, and you can set off.

You will ascend the beautiful peak of Hafrafell, looking out as the landscapes unfold around you. You can expect to see a millennium-old lava field, wildflowers and trees over rolling hills, volcanoes, mountains, and of course, the city of Reykjavík from above.

The sun will never fully set, but as it lowers in the sky, will dye the horizon with beautiful hues of red, orange and pink. You are unlikely to see another soul throughout the adventure, which is part of the beauty of Iceland under the midnight sun,

At Hafrafell’s summit, you will stop to admire the spectacular views, to take some photos, and to enjoy the birdsongs without the sound of the engine. If you are sharing your ATV with another driver when it is time for your descent, you can swap seats here to enjoy the ride both as a passenger and behind the wheel.

You’ll return your ATV at approximately midnight, after a thrilling adventure. Following that, your guide will take you back to your Reykjavík accommodation.
